GreenFest

GreenFest was an outdoor Christian music festival held at Bingemans Park in Kitchener, Ontario in the summers of 1985 and 1986. Both GreenFest85 and GreenFest 86 were organized by Sjon Deters and supporters.

Sjon Deters and Steve Burchell and music ministry friends also set up and produced Lighthouse North.

GreenFest 85 was held from June 28 to June 30, 1985. The MC for GreenFest was Bim Ingersoll

"The New Music" a MuchMusic production produced a television documentary video on GreenFest in 1986. The lead reporting journalist was Daniel_Richler. The drummer for Lighthouse, Skip Prokop was involved in promoting GreenFest 86.
