Who was Gordon Williams ?Rev. Gordon Williams was a Christian and a Spirit-filled evangelist, pastor, teacher & author who preached the full Gospel and who operated in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. He witnessed to many people leading them to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and to receive physical, mental, and emotional healing. He also had a deliverance ministry. He held a M.Div. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and was first ordained by the United Church of Canada. In 1986 he was ordained by the PAOC (The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) and ECAMFC (Evangelical Church Alliance Ministerial Fellowship of Canada). For a number of years, he served on the Board of Directors of ECAMFC as the Vice-President.
Gordon Williams Ministry to Churches & Parachurch MinistriesGordon Williams ministered to a number of Churches and parachurch ministries. He preached and ministered in churches of all denominations, conducted Camp Meetings and Crusades, preaching Missions, teaching Seminars, and Retreats, and has spoken at Seminaries and Bible Colleges. He has spoken and ministered at many "Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International" (F.G.B.M.F.I.) local chapter meetings, conventions, advances, rallies, and other functions. He has also ministered at many “Christian Business Men's Fellowship” meetings and retreats. Gordon also ministered at many Women's Meetings in Churches, as well as, many “Women Aglow” Chapters and retreats. He has been an advisor to both a “Women Aglow” Chapter and an “Area Board of Directors”. He has spoken and ministered to Christian Business Women's Club meetings. He also spoke and ministered at youth rallies, banquets, and retreats. His ministry included a variety of people: youth, singles, married couples, divorced people, those recovering from Substance Abuse (drugs and alcohol) and others who required healing and help. in 1976, David Spencer became a Christian under the ministry of Rev. Gord Williams at St. Paul's United Church in Brampton, Ontario. Gord ministered there from January 1971 to August 1976. Rev. Williams also pastored six (6) churches including Harriston United Church and Good Samaritan Church in Breslau, Ontario.
In the summer of 1998, David Spencer organized a reunion for those who appreciated Gord Williams' ministry. A picnic was held at Eldorado Park in Churchville. During the evening, an outreach, music worship and time of ministry was held at Gage Park in downtown Brampton. Obituary for Gordon WilliamsThursday, October 21st, 1937 - Monday, May 15th, 2023 Williams, Howard Gordon Peacefully at his home on Monday, May 15th, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Ruth Williams. Dear father of Geoff (Margaret), Doug (Jill), Karl, and the late Margaret (2000). Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Rachel, Ethan, Charlotte, Declan and Kieran. Gordon will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, May 19th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday May 20, 2023 at 10:00am. Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 11:00 am. Media Contributions of Gordon WilliamsRev. Gordon Williams was a talk show guest, a guest television host and provided resources during radio interviews. In 1973 during his ministry at St. Paul's United Church in Brampton, Ontario, Gordon Williams gave leadership in establishing a 24-hour interdenominational counseling ministry which also included the “Telecare Distress Centre” Brampton telephone ministry of which he was the first “Chairman of the Board of Directors”. In 1983, Gordon joined the staff of "100 Huntley Street", Canada's National daily Christian television ministry. The daily program was produced by Crossroads Christian Communications, Inc. (C.C.C.I.). Gordon started as the Toronto Area Director and later became the assistant to the President, Rev. David Mainse. Gordon was responsible for the scriptural overview at the conclusion of each telecast, co-hosted the program, and conducted rallies, banquets and telethons. Gordon has also represented "100 Huntley Street’s" ministry at various meetings and functions. He also hosted and produced 100 Huntley Street's "Night Lite", a live, open-line talk show which was seen Monday through Friday, from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., both locally in the Toronto viewing area and in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Every night people were reached with the Gospel. He was one of the original hosts of the new "Night Lite" talk show seen on the Christian "Crossroads Television Station" (CTS), Channel 36, Burlington, Ontario, and on the local cable systems in the area. Gordon Williams appeared as a guest on many local and national Radio and Television Talk Shows in Canada, such as "Canada AM" and "W 5" and in the United States, too numerous too mention.

He has produced three video and audio teaching tapes: "The Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit", "From Caterpillar to Butterfly" and "The Personal Testimony of Gordon Williams" to equip and encourage others to do ministry.
