Who is Connie Scott ?

Connie Scott was a popular Canadian Christian pop music singer in the 1980's and early 1990's. At 18 years of age Connie Scott became the youngest artist to ever sign a contract with Sparrow Records. In 2006, GMA Canada honored her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Source: GMA Canada "Producer Roy Salmond provided a sincere and sometimes humorous overview of Scott’s career. There were vintage film clips recounting her many accomplishments and performances over the years." Source: Joe Montague for The Phantom Tollbooth. "A simple email cannot begin to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for what was an amazing experience for Connie and I. I must admit, we were somewhat taken aback by the attention, comments and expressions of love that we received in Calgary. We were humbled and honoured to be recognized for those years of hard work and service. This past week made it all worth it. Thank you. Congratulations on producing an outstanding Awards Ceremony."
