Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) Canada

Artists in Christian Testimony Canada Incorporated received its Letters Patent on March 13, 2007 and its charitable status (#85272 2594 RR0001) on July 30, 2009. Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) Canada was launched in Canada on Saturday November 21, 2009 at the Canadian In Touch Offices of Charles Stanley's ministry in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) Canada is a division of Artists in Christian Testimony Intl.

Artists in Christian Testimony Intl (A.C.T. International) mobilizes, sends out, equips and supports artistic ministers and missionaries— Arts-Ministry Specialists—who are dedicated to evangelizing the lost and building up the Body of Christ in line with the Bible’s mandates for the New Testament Church.

The distinctive of Artists in Christian Testimony Intl (A.C.T. International) is that it focuses especially on enabling Christians entrusted with artistic abilities and methods to carry out their ministry calling as true ministers and missionaries of the Gospel of Christ.


Events and Workshops of Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) Canada

  • Saturday November 20, 2010 "Artists in Christian Testimony (A.C.T.) Canada Called to Create" (PDF media release). Held at Guelph Bible Conference Centre in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
    Speakers include:
    * Rev. Byron Spradlin — A pastor, musician, teacher, encourager and President of A.C.T. International, Spradlin blends worship and scriptural teaching in a way that God seems to use to move people towards more practical encounter with Jesus, His Word, His help and His health.
    * Rev. Dr. Warwick Cooper — The Pastor of Counselling and Family Ministries at Peoples Church Toronto and currently serves as the Corporate Board Chair & Secretary of A.C.T. Canada.
    * Robert White —a veteran journalist and currently Editor of the ChristianWeek Ontario newspaper. White recently became part of A.C.T. Canada through Selaw (pronounce ‘say-LAV’) Ministries which exists to encourage and inspire all Canadian Christian artists— with a special emphasis on those in the writing community.
    * Peter Tigchelaar— Has been singing and playing music since childhood with rock, blues, gospel, choral and reggae alive in his eclectic tunes, played passionately on guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and Hammertone. His signature style includes thoughtful lyrics set to engaging arrangements shaped by his diverse melodic influences.
